Like Replyjohnsmith87, Did Katie already give you the camera? I think you need to go see her in the evening on a sunday if you have it for the first photo shoot. Also, normally you cannot get the money to go very far in the game without doing photos. I guess you got the money with a cheat code, and maybe that way you missed something that is no longer available, in which case you probably need to start over.

Words of advice for other players, Check hints often, they are very helpful, if you are stuck, check the pool and click on your cell phone, you only need to browse the internet for Claire's business. To defeat the drug dealer you need to get the crystal from Serena and spike his drink. Yes I have played through all of the content as of yet and I will say that it is good.
