How many battle levels are available in version 0.2? When will version 0.3 be released? The current version 0.2 effectively ends when Goblin obtains the pass from the Viscountess. When is the next release?

Lack of signposting (the man offering directions is of no help, only saying location names instead of positions), tediously slow combat animations and experience grinding, poor collision in some places, mindless grind for cash in order to progress, and a lack of a stereotypical inn until all the build's fighting is effectively done ruins the experience for me. 1k gold of grinding to unlock the inn, not including the extra funds to maintain healing items.

urmom, you miss the point. For one, only one type of combat layout can drop fangs, and that layout is never guaranteed to spawn. Second, that is 80 at a time out of the needed 1k. assuming you dont spend money on anything else, that is (100/8=12.5) 13 fangs. That number is misleadingly low, though, as the lack of inn means you MUST keep potions stockpiled to avoid starting over. If you only fight the layout that drops them, you will need to replace a potion every 3 fights at maximum efficiency.
Now, all that would not be that big a deal if the game was tested for QoL, but to get the funds, you are restricted to only 2 screens of enemy spawns with fights that take 5 minutes on the low end due to slow animations and health management. 5x13=65 minutes of pure grind, and that is still the minimum calculation and does not count time on the overworld map.
That is just the math side of things. For the game design side, there is the arguably stupid decision to force said grinding before you gain access to a healing safe haven (which i have been using "inn" as shorthand for). To phrase it simply, at maximum efficiency, the game asks for effectively an hour and a half of pure grinding before they let you START the story, and by the time the story can start, the build is over.
My final main complaint came down to the world itself and its art direction. "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" and all that means i rarely try to make it a legitimate complaint, reserved only as a personal opinion, but for this game in particular, i can say that it is a problem, even if i dont have the expertise to put it into words. At the most surface level, the player has to rub up against a wall to determine if a door exists, or if the door is locked.
Then comes the problem with the town head's place. A door that is locked until the story sends you there, with absolutely no indication of that being the case, or of which wall the player has to rub themselves against to find progress. In my attempts to rub myself against walls to blindly navigate, i also found a wall with no collision, which just creates further confusion.
To finish my multi-reply rant off, i do acknowledge that most of these problems are a result of an early build and likely some degree of missing experience on the part of the devs, but if that is the case, that is the exact reasons i levy the critiques i do: to create a better finished product. The experience just told me that i will need to skip a few builds before i could possibly enjoy it.
